The Facts of LIFE
Working in the field of Physical Therapy in today’s World of Plenty, there are many things that come my way which make me want to open my mouth and say “Oh My!!” Just the other day I had the pleasure of meeting and working with a little-Lady named “CHAS,” in Physical Therapy; that was her name, she was proud of it, and we had a little Chuckle when I recalled the song about a little-Boy named Sue; the fact that my name is little Larry-bird, spelled “B-o-b,” and that I have little-bird named Blue!!
It turns out that CHAS was and continues to be an accomplished writer, Cowboy Poet, artist, collector of dolls, dresses, and she lives in the little-town of Timbuktu, MONTANA; home to Buffalo Joe’s Eatery and Saloon, which is owned and operated by another little-Lady that we both know there named ALEX and a man named Larry, who I had met some months ago in the confines of Gasthaus, a little-German Pub located in Downtown Brown Great Falls, MONTANA; home to the Charles Marion Russell Art Museum, which is located just off the parking lot behind my little-house on the prairie, where I am currently staying in Great Falls, MONTANA!! CHARLES Ingalls was the father of the original Little House on the Prairie, which was a TV drama series revolving around the 1870’s adventures of the Ingalls family, and he did it so well!!
CHAS is short for Charles, and Charles M. Russell is the well-known American artist of the Old West; who created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Native Americans, and landscapes, from the western United States and Alberta, Canada; in addition to creating many bronze sculptures, which are on display around the world as well as in the expansive halls of the C.M. Russell Art Museum in Great Falls, MONTANA.
Charles M. Russell was born on March 19, 1864 in St. Louis, Missouri; he died in Great Falls, MONTANA, at the age of 62, and his works of art live on in the lives, in the minds, and in the times, of those that he has touched over the years by the work of his own hands. The Facts of LIFE are this: LIFE is all that we have, little-birds are a beautiful metaphor for LIFE, beer is great, and people are crazy; so, while we are alive, we should try to: live a little, laugh a lot, open our wings, soar through the air, love a bunch, give people genuine compliments, and let you know that I am very glad to know YOU!!
