Bank of Opportunity
The greatest journey, the longest bike ride, the most beautiful ocean cruise, the most majestic hot air balloon ride, the wildest trip down a white-water river, and the most spectacular hike over the mountains, and through the woods, is unparalleled by the length, breadth, and depth, of the pathway that we are currently treading, in trying to figure out who we are, where we are, and for what purpose we are, here!! Every step that we take, every breath that we breathe, and every word that we read, even the ones that seem to be insignificant, are delivering us one step closer to the goal of self-discovery, Truth, and deliverance. Everybody wants to be saved!! Think about the young lady thrown overboard while white-water rafting, or the young man lost in the woods after tracking a bull into the night, or the young child separated from her parents in a busy and bustling department store. Opportunities come, opportunities go; and they are quickly gone, so, when opportunity knocks, answer the door; it might be the opening to a new beginning.
Fear of the Unknown and Complacency are chains on the door to a brighter tomorrow; to having a bigger impact; and experiencing a more bountiful and beautiful future. Tomorrow may not come, so while we are alive, let us make today the first day of our brand-new future; by forgetting what lies behind and pressing forward through the open door before us. Open doors are there for a reason, and this may be the season to step across the threshold to see what lies on the other side. Fear disappears in the light of Truth, love, and humanity; so, go forth boldly, step forward in confidence, look up, and follow the path before you. Try it, you might like it!!
Life, sometimes is like a stagnant pond, sometimes like a rushing river, and sometimes like a wide open, gently flowing expanse of cool blue water, hemmed-in by its grassy banks, with whispering tree limbs, deer, squirrels, rabbits, and mice all about and aglow in the light and warmth of the day. We are floating down that river on a boat towards our own unique, and chosen destination; and along the way there will be tributaries branching off in new directions; to parts unknown, to new lands teeming with riches in abundance; and quite possibly with a few potholes along the way, but now our eyes are opened, our minds are engaged, and our future is secured; we are going in the direction of our own choosing, we have the wheel in our hands, and this is our chance to shine brightly upon the lands!!
